Job Description:

Job Title: Site Director - Security Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Director - Security Operations to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Site Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations at our commercial real estate properties. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Security Strategies: Develop and implement effective security strategies to ensure the safety and security of our properties and occupants.
  • Lead and Manage Security Teams: Lead and manage a team of security personnel to ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure that security protocols are aligned with their needs and expectations.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate security incidents and develop strategies to prevent them from happening in the future.
  • Manage Security Budgets: Manage security budgets to ensure that they are aligned with the company's financial goals and objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Security Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest security best practices and technologies to ensure that our properties are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License: Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Certification: Must have Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Security Experience: Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience working in security or a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
  • Knowledge of Security Legislation: Must have knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal security legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and Decision-Making Skills: Must have excellent discretion and decision-making skills.
  • Tact and Diplomacy: Must have tact and diplomacy in dealings with a range of settings and situations.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Must be flexible and adaptable in dealing with diverse situations and people.
