About the RoleThis is a full-time, 18-month contract opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of clear and compelling content that showcases the Foundation's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage content for social media platforms and the website, ensuring consistency with the Foundation's brand
- Design and develop event websites and microsites using WordPress and other platforms
- Manage the online peer-to-peer fundraising platform
- Write and oversee the creation of content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials
- Craft compelling stories about the impact of donor contributions and the hospital's needs to inspire action and giving
- Collaborate across foundation departments to amplify fundraising campaigns, ideas, and initiatives through communication and marketing tactics
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing insights and performance reports to inform future strategies
- 2-4 years of experience in a non-profit environment, preferably in marketing and communications
- Strong knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and current/emerging technology
- Demonstrated experience creating content for and managing corporate social media channels
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for a broad audience
- An eye for compelling visuals and knowledge of and experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva)
- Experience editing video with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable software considered a plus
- Completion of a post-secondary degree program in Marketing or Communications or a related discipline
