We specialize in insurance and investment solutions for high net worth clients and contract with a major/recognizable Canadian Financial Institution.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, highly organized, professional and capable individual to work full-time as an Advisor Executive Assistant within my team.


ROLE SUMMARY:

The Executive Assistant is a key member of my team as we seek to help our clients achieve lifetime financial security.

As the Executive Assistant you will have three critical areas of focus on my team: 1. delivering an exceptional client service experience for current and potential clients who call or come into our office 2. ensuring a full and balanced advisor calendar of appointments creating sales opportunities 3. executing all applicable administrative operations to create and maintain a smooth, efficient and compliant office

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of previous administrative experience, preferably within the Financial Services Industry
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Superior customer service and people skills
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality, experienced in working in a regulatory and compliance driven environment
  • Proficient with Outlook, MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, structured and punctual
  • Professional demeanor

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • You have experience working with Sales Force, Outlook Office 365, and/or Naviplan (or similar planning software)
  • You are a professional and experienced administrator with a solid Financial Services background
  • You are a strong team player with a great attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • You pay attention to details and pride yourself on excellence in administrative support
  • You enjoy helping clients and being part of a sales team
  • You have a passion for insurance and investment solutions
  • If you are BC Life Licensed and/or BC MFDA/CIRO Mutual Fund licensed it would be a strong advantage

HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. No evening or weekend work required. Stat Days are paid days off. Hybrid model available (2-3 days at the office, remainder remote).

COMPENSATION:


Starting salary between $19- $25 per hour (ca $34,500 to $45,500 per year) depending on qualifications/experience for the right candidate, plus vacation pay and extended medical/dental benefits (qualification based).

Some flex-time may be available. Exceptional candidates can expect above industry standard compensation. If you are organized, efficient and detail oriented, then this may be the opportunity for you.
