Food and Beverage Supervisor

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Food and Beverage Supervisor is the floor manager of our various food & beverage outlets at the resort. This role is responsible for supervising the seasonal pool bar operations and assisting to lead functions in our newly renovated banquet space.

  • Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image to guests and colleagues, including a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage leadership team in elevating the dining experience across the resort.
  • Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness, sanitization, and set up.
  • Oversee servers and support team members to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional guest care.
  • Manage staffing needs and labor.
  • Perform duties such as Bartender, Host, and Busser when needed.
  • Follow all safety, liquor laws, and sanitation policies.
  • Assist in managing inventory in the food and beverage department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using a POS System.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits with the ability to make recommendations.
  • Current BC "Serving it Right" certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of fine dining standards.
  • Ability to coach, train, and motivate a service team.
  • Minimum two years Food and Beverage supervisory experience in a hotel restaurant or fine dining establishment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
