As a key partner, Rubber Duck is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the operations of their car wash locations in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Role Description:

The Property Manager is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining equipment, building and leading a local team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will manage a team of Car Wash Attendants (CWAs), ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed and manage their respective car wash locations.

  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure maintenance checklists are being followed.
  • Oversee the timely execution of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the overall appearance of assigned locations is tidy and inviting to customers.
  • Regularly engage with customers, proactively assist them on-site, and solicit feedback to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently, aiming to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assist customers with signing up for membership programs at applicable locations.
  • Manage the Car Wash Attendants (CWAs) servicing your assigned locations.
  • Oversee all necessary training to set your CWAs up for success, regularly evaluate their performance, and implement any necessary personnel changes.
  • Schedule staff to achieve optimal car wash operations and customer service, while being mindful of labor costs during slower periods.
  • Track and remit payroll information on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure your team operates in a safe environment.
  • Oversee the collection of all coins at assigned locations and deposit the funds into the company's bank account on a weekly basis.

Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a property management role or management in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
  • Experience leading teams and strong leadership abilities with a focus on team harmony.
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities.
