NOV is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Coating Operator to join our team in Nisku, Alberta.

Job Summary:

The Coating Operator will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and apply coatings to tubulars and related goods
  • Operate an overhead crane and related equipment
  • Mentor and train new employees
  • Ensure a safe working environment and follow all safety protocols
  • Report any accidents or incidents
  • Perform equipment setup and adjustment
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school education with strong communication skills
  • Class 5 Driver's License in good standing
  • Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferred
  • Previous coating experience is an asset
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in a shop environment
  • Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes, or gases and changes in temperature and humidity
  • Physical requirements include squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment
