About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Coating Specialist to join our team at Midwest Coatings. As an Industrial Coating Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality coatings are applied to our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Work Area: Ensure the work area is clean and organized to prevent accidents and ensure efficient production.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate equipment such as sandblasters, water blasting machines, and hand-held spray guns to prepare surfaces for coating.
  • Apply Coatings: Apply protective or decorative coatings to products using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all coatings meet the highest quality standards and are applied in accordance with specifications.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Overhead Crane Certification, WHMIS Certificate, and CSTS Certificate.
