Supervisor, Recycling Facility

The Supervisor, Recycling Facility is responsible for the supervision of day-to-day activities of the team and processes at our Recycling Facility in Etobicoke.
**Key Responsibilities:** • Oversee daily operations, ensuring procedures are in place to maximize productivity and efficiency. • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed consistently. • Manage employee schedules and operational activities to keep the facility running effectively. • Investigate, implement, and monitor company policies, ensuring full compliance. • Review work performance to ensure quality and timeliness, maintaining high standards for both. • Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities to avoid downtime and ensure smooth operations. • Lead employee coaching, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a positive and productive work environment. • Compile and analyze daily transaction data. • Prepare and submit weekly and month-end reports to senior management. • Identify areas for continuous improvement in operational processes. • Administer production data, safety programs, and maintenance tracking. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** • Supervise a team of approximately 20 full-time employees, including administrative staff, sorters/laborers, and equipment operators. **Qualifications:** • High School Diploma or GED (accredited). • At least four (4) years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** • Experience managing operations in a production or manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with Profit & Loss (P&L) and safety programs. • Strong organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook. **Work Environment:** • The work environment includes a combination of indoor and outdoor tasks in a Recycling Facility. • Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. **Benefits:** • Comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Stock Purchase Plan, and Company match on RRSP. • Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Personal Days (benefits may vary by location).-
