Your Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for your position in line with Cascades' Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
- Help set OHS priorities for your sector, aligning with corporate objectives and follow up on them.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in your sector.
- Promote sound occupational health and safety management practices.
- Conduct semi-annual performance reviews as required.
- Handle employee discipline when necessary.
- Train, develop, and motivate plant employees.
- Maintain and analyze production reports.
- Schedule and lead production/crew meetings.
- Identify daily maintenance and repair needs in conjunction with the maintenance team.
- Approve and monitor overtime hours.
- Update and approve employee time sheets in UltiPro.
- Control overhead costs (line-item assignments).
- Sign off A/P invoices in conjunction with the Plant Manager.

- 3-5 years' experience in a recycling or related industry.
- Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.
- Proficiency in utilizing computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components. - Ability to work well independently and as part of a project team.
• Proven troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability. - Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
