Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at LE002 Flagship Facility Services LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising employees, evaluating performance, and ensuring proper work area coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and delegate operations schedule to ensure proper work area coverage.
- Evaluate performance of personnel and inspect assigned areas to ensure proper work performance.
- Find and define problems, resolve issues, and make recommendations to management staff and customers.
- Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to Operations Manager/Operations Coordinator.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries and report any new or changing job/work orders.
- Perform purchasing activities, track supply and equipment usage, and ensure compliance with company, customer, and OSHA standards.
- Provide on-the-job training for staff/employees to job-specific tasks.
- Participate in company and customer training to ensure effective communication and distribution of information.
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company policies, customer rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three to Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the janitorial/facilities field.
- Clean DMV record.
- Pass criminal background screening.
Work Environment
This is a fast-paced office environment with a high sense of urgency. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 40 lbs. of office and facilities equipment.
