Shared Health is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Intensive Treatment Service team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct client care, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with families and community supports to meet client needs.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering direct client care and developing treatment plans
- Providing therapeutic clinical interventions and effective milieu management
- Administering and monitoring medications and related health care procedures
- Collaborating with families and community supports to meet client needs
- Establishing and maintaining professional working relationships within the inter-professional team and community
- Identifying and accessing community resources
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in psychiatry, with child and adolescent mental health experience preferred
- Graduation from an approved program in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing (B.Sc.P.N., B.Sc. M.H. or B.Sc.N. preferred)
- Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act
