Job Title: Store Associate

Sherwin-Williams is a leading manufacturer of paints and coatings, and we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer engagement
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
