As a Property Claims Representative, you'll be at the heart of helping people, working alongside a passionate and diverse team of adjusters who are experts in customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing superior quality customer service through proactive communication with customers during the claims process.
- Assessing and analyzing policy wordings and damage to determine appropriate coverage.
- Investigating property claims in a timely manner through communication with customers, vendors, experts, and adjusters.
- Negotiating with customers, third parties, and insurers to settle claims within established authority scope.
- Staying up-to-date on current insurance products and trends in appraisal and investigation techniques and services.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of claims experience preferred.
- Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and priority management skills.
- Strong aptitude for technology with excellent computer skills.
- On-going commitment to self-development.
- A college diploma or university degree is preferred.
- Willing to pursue a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
