At Co-operators, we're committed to creating peace of mind for our clients and communities. As a Property Claims Representative II, you'll play a key role in delivering on this strategy.

As a member of our Claims team, you'll be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and resolving complex property, farm, and commercial claims. You'll contribute to our client service culture through daily interactions with clients and implement innovative, client-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and interpret coverage to resolve complex claims autonomously.
  • Evaluate damage and prepare estimates on property losses, including attending the scene of the loss.
  • Collaborate with vendors and government officials to facilitate settlement of the loss.
  • Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
  • Provide exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Three years of claims or related business experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
