Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AV Systems Specialist to lead large commercial AV installation projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with AV systems such as Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, and Extron.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support, lead, and mentor team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications/drawings.
  • Install audio/visual equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, and all presentation systems.
  • Interact with customers and prospects to ensure all inquiries are handled professionally.
  • Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices.
  • 3-5 years' experience installing AV systems preferred, but experience from an electrical, mechanical, and/or construction environment will be considered.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certification with Crestron, Polycom, CTS, Extron, and BiAmp would be considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean abstract.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
