Job Title: Broadcast & Event AV Specialist

Job Summary:

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast & Event AV Specialist to support the operation and technical activities for all live events, webcasts, and other meetings held in the RBC's Waterpark Auditorium and RBC's Plaza event locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of audio/visual/lighting equipment, including live, multi-camera technical direction, multi-camera switching on Newtek Tricaster, remote camera control, and more.
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in all aspects of audio/video technical direction and operation of broadcast technology, including live event and webcasting.
  • An excellent understanding of all equipment to accurately assess, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level executives.
  • Able to work well independently or part of a team, with flexible hours including afternoon and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Ability to learn new technical information quickly and work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
