Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, helping clients anticipate, quantify, and understand risks in over 130 countries.

We are seeking an Associate Client Executive to join our Montreal office, responsible for growing client relationships, acquiring new clients, and providing superior client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow satisfied client relationships and acquire new clients through effective communication and partnership with various resources.
  • Manage and grow client P&L, individually and in aggregate, across a book of business.
  • Partner with Client Executives on accounts to support client service efforts and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Review client/prospect exposure loss experience and current coverage, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
  • Communicate client needs and binding instructions to insurers.
  • Implement and maintain a quality service plan, ensuring accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documents.
  • Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients.
  • Conduct stewardship meetings with client participation.
  • Generate new sales through existing clients and client referrals in accordance with the business plan.
  • Manage timely billing/collection for each client.
  • Develop a working relationship with all functions within the company to improve client service and increase cross-selling opportunities.
  • Engage the appropriate industry group and Marsh resources to offer best-in-class resources for each client/prospect.
  • Participate in professional development activities/courses.
  • Comply with Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clients.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with commercial insurance.
  • AMF license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
  • Strong business acumen, including knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English – verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
