Senior Technical Security Analyst

The Senior Technical Security Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's systems and data. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the security compliance and design, implement and monitor controls to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Assess technology risk and conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans, including documenting procedures and conducting training exercises.
  • Research and assess emerging security threats and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Provide reporting and data-driven insights on the organization's security posture, including vulnerabilities, incidents, and remediation efforts.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of work experience in Information Security or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education through university or college degree in an IT related field.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, and facilitation of open discussions.
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience on Information security principles and framework (PCI, ISO, NIST, etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience in assessing and mitigating security controls and risk for on-prem infrastructure, cloud environments, and other technologies.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
  • Strong customer focus, with ability to manage customer expectations and experience and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, with ability to interface with a broad range of people and roles.
