About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Assistant I to join our team. As a Claims Assistant I, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support and front-line quality customer service in the settlement of insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process claims-related documents and correspondence.
  • Manage file storage and retrieval processes for closed claims.
  • Provide administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Process and coordinate incoming correspondence, including sorting and distributing mail.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them to management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, including business or administration training.
  • 3-12 months of work experience, preferably in a claims or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in standard office applications and data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
