Job Description

Job Summary:

The Store Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving sales and operational excellence in our retail stores. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive shopping experience
    • Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
  • Store Operations:
    • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed and that all employees are trained on these policies
    • Manage store budgets and ensure that all expenses are within budget
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of sales associates and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with store management, district managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and visual merchandising, to ensure that all store initiatives are aligned with company goals
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
    • Analyze sales data and other metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement solutions to improve sales and operational performance

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, and ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds to process product shipment/transfers
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
