Sales Representative

This is an exciting job opportunity for a dynamic, driven, energetic, and enthusiastic professional looking to take the next step in their career. In this position, the successful candidate will work with established Concha y Toro Group brands, including Casillero del Diablo, Frontera, Bonterra, 1000 Stories, Trivento and others. More suppliers and brands are being pursued to continue to augment the portfolio.
Reporting to the Prairies Sales Manager, the sales representative role will be focused on managing the entire territory of Saskatchewan with an emphasis on cultivating and enhancing partnerships with retailer chains, independent and on-premise accounts. The role will also have responsibility for the implementation of the territorial sales plan and corresponding sales strategies (maximize market share, ensure volume, distribution, coverage, promotion, merchandising are effectively implemented) building strong relationships with key decision-makers to support Escalade sales and marketing strategies, maximize sales volume, net profit, and product distribution within this territory.
The successful candidate must have a great deal of self-discipline, set high standards for themselves, be competitive, and be a great team player. Experience in beverage alcohol sales, or packaged goods, or the hospitality industry as well as fundamental wine and spirits (WSET 2) knowledge is an asset.
Additional responsibilities include organizing and creating displays, tastings, and account support functions. In addition, attendance at trade events (evenings and weekends) will be required.
Potential candidates must have a passion for wine and spirits, hold a valid passport, a driver's license and their own vehicle for business-related travel. Candidates with College or University schooling are also preferred. Other skills that are important to this position are:

- Able to set and execute high standards of performance.
- Capable of advanced organization and planning skills and have the ability to respect tight schedules.
This position comes with a base salary commensurate with experience, an annual bonus, a car allowance, and group benefits. Business-related expenses are also covered.
