Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating compliance, verifying financial information, analyzing and resolving anomalies, performing reconciliations, and processing transactions in accordance with our financial management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Verify financial information and identify discrepancies
  • Analyze and resolve anomalies in financial transactions
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Process transactions, including journal vouchers, period-end accruals, accounts payable invoices, credit card/travel expenses, and other transactions
  • Respond to inquiries and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, and systems to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial transaction compliance and processing
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in finance, business administration, accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience working in a large organization (> 500 employees, > $30 million in revenue, > $15 million in capital)
  • Experience in a bookkeeping/accounting position, processing accounts payable transactions, reconciling accounts, resolving AP issues, and interacting effectively with internal/external clients
  • Experience using standard office software such as MS Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with complex, integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry/supply chain or wholesale/retail operations
