This role is a key position within the Revenue Administration team at QuadReal, responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the revenue accounting cycle for assigned land-lease properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions, lease documents, renewals, tenant information, and adjustments using Yardi software.
  • Process all resident charges and manage rentable items, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Account for all cash transactions related to resident accounts, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process and post pre-authorized payments from residents in Yardi, ensuring seamless and efficient transactions.
  • Review and reconcile monthly rent roll prior to posting, making any necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Process information for residents moving out, issuing appropriate refund cheques and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Review and aid in rental discrepancies with Property Managers, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create correspondence to residents, working closely with the site team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure month ends are properly invoiced and accounting-related questions are properly addressed.
  • Compile and process collection packages, as required, to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding balances.
  • Support the preparation of relevant files for legal action, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Liaise with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and Accounting to ensure appropriate information is received, recorded, and provided as requested.
  • Participate in special ad-hoc projects, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration workflows, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Two years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred.
  • Experience in Residential Real Estate is an asset.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Company policies and procedures, as well as relevant Acts and Legislation.
  • An energetic self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software and proficiency with Yardi Voyager is an asset.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.
  • Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and strong adherence to established deadlines.
  • Organized and efficient with strong multi-task skills and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
