About the Role

Aecon is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing expert guidance on project controls, scheduling, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project controls guidelines and procedures to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and mentor project controls teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and vendors.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on project controls and scheduling.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including earned value management, cost control, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop project controls teams.
