Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Canadian Industrial Supplies and Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and meeting budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including coordinating subcontractors and staff.
  • Select and manage trade subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates and manage project finances.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as subcontractors.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems, and read blueprint, schemas, and drawings.
  • Plan and manage budgets, direct the purchase of building materials, and oversee land acquisitions.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, develop risk management plans, and oversee data analysis.
  • Prepare reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, outdoors, and indoors, with a team of 16-20 people.
