Senior IT Support Analyst sought to provide technical expertise and support for computer systems and software to improve efficiency in a dynamic gaming company.

Activate, a technology company creating immersive gaming experiences, is expanding its IT team with a key role in facilitating solutions for customers and overseeing computer systems workflow.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement and configuration of new infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, document, and maintain corporate office IT infrastructure and networking infrastructure.
  • Assist in server configuration and maintenance of hardware and networking infrastructure in gaming facilities.
  • Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  • Assist in definition, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure monitoring and alerting software.
  • Install and maintain security software and policies.
  • Support and troubleshoot IT issues for employees.
  • Research software programs and participate in IT projects.
  • Manage access levels for document management systems and security access.
  • Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery strategy.
  • Recommend, implement, and test security and quality controls tools.
Mentorship:
  • Provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Work with Director, IT to provide feedback and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate to define and improve software development standards and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar role.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in recognizing software and hardware issues.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting.
