Club Pilates seeks a General Manager to lead a team of instructors and staff in providing high-quality Pilates classes and exceptional customer service.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales processes, and overseeing studio operations. You will work closely with the District Manager and Owner to ensure studio functionality and foster a culture of inclusivity and wellness.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales management experience, with a proven track record of generating personal sales and training sales representatives. They will be fluent in English, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to excel in a fast-changing environment.

The General Manager will be responsible for:

  • Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking
  • Managing sales processes to schedule prospects into demo classes
  • Membership sales
  • Managing staff schedules
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate inventory counts
  • Supervising sales representatives
  • Hiring and managing instructors
  • Providing regular coaching to staff
  • Proficiency in Club Ready, including revenue reports and attendance reports
  • Independently making decisions related to high-level customer service
  • Collecting outstanding dues
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and organization
  • Enforcing Club Pilates policies and procedures
  • Scheduling and participating in networking and community events
  • Strategically managing marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Executing controls on studio processes to ensure compliance

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales management experience
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training sales representatives
  • Ability to manage and drive four revenue streams: membership sales, retail, private training, and teacher training
  • Fluent in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized and proficient in data management
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, clients, and the general public
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software
