We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Grocery Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning and merchandising of the grocery department
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced
- Adhering to food safety and handling procedures
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business
- Following Health and Safety guidelines
- Stocking merchandise/picking, downstocking if applicable, and applying product protection when required
- Setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and setting new shelf caps
- Minimum rate of pay: $15.75 per hour
- Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience
