Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at North Atlantic Sushi Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Team Members
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service team members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
Train and Develop Team MembersThe successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing our team members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and other relevant skills.
Estimate and Manage InventoryThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for estimating and managing our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet our customer demand.
Quality Control and AssuranceThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet our high standards of quality control, and for implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Record Keeping and ReportingThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of our stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and for preparing and submitting regular reports to management.
Work Scheduling and PlanningThe successful candidate will be responsible for establishing work schedules and plans for our food service team, ensuring that we are able to meet our customer demand and maintain our high standards of quality and service.
Requirements- Criminal Record Check
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe Food Service Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, and will be subject to the physical demands of the job, including walking and standing for long periods of time.
Personal QualitiesThe successful candidate will be required to possess excellent client focus, team player, initiative, and dependability skills, and will be expected to work in a team environment to achieve our high standards of quality and customer service.
Working Conditions- Work Term
The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent basis.
Work LanguageThe official language of work is English.
Hours of WorkThe successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
