Job Title: Business Development Director

Thales Canada is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) Global Alliances Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and revenue in the DSF, AppSec, and WAF market segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our Core Focus partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans to capitalize on new opportunities and expand our offerings into emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide technical and commercial analysis to support partnership initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Map partner organizations and design go-to-market plans to capitalize on opportunities for Thales and our partners.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of successful technical sales experience in the cybersecurity market.
  • Clear understanding of trends in the cybersecurity market and ability to identify areas of growth.
  • Fundamental understanding of security technologies and their relevance to partner offerings.
  • Direct experience using cybersecurity technologies and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Experience collaborating with partner sales teams to identify opportunities for new business.
