LifeLabs is a leading medical laboratory services provider in Canada, seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technologist to join our team in Burnaby, BC.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Registered Technologist with CSMLS certification who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, adhering to our high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, and participate in the development of effective corrective action plans
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse individuals
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow up on issues
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
