Medical Lab Technologist

Join our team at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services and contribute to improving lives through accurate and timely diagnostic specimen testing and reporting.

This is a part-time regular role with flexible shift work, ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Perform, interpret, and release results while ensuring patient confidentiality
  • Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization

Requirements:

  • College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse individuals
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills, including issue identification and follow-up
  • Ability to maintain strict standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
