LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is in search of a Medical Lab Technologist to contribute to our mission of improving health outcomes.
As a Medical Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and prompt diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Your role is crucial in ensuring quality, efficiency, and the swift delivery of test results, all of which play a vital part in patient care.
This position offers a Full-Time schedule with flexible shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance. LifeLabs facilities are recognized as educational laboratories, providing opportunities for knowledge sharing, 24-hour medical support from our Medical Science team, and access to a comprehensive medical library.
Position Details: This role operates on a FLOAT schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, allowing for day, evening, or night shifts.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of diagnostic and interpretive specimen tests.
- Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Identify incidents and non-conformities, contributing to the development of effective corrective action plans.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
- Engage in problem-solving related to work organization and workflow.

LifeLabs seeks a Registered Technologist with CSMLS certification who excels in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while upholding our standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
- Problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify and address issues.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality.
