Role Description

This role is a Parkbridge role, reporting into the Revenue Administration Manager at QuadReal, is responsible for managing non-standard residential rental transactions. Liaising with internal and external partners, the Revenue Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end processing of received orders affecting current residents. The Revenue Specialist will suggest and assist the Revenue Administration Supervisor and Manager with process and technical enhancements when identified. All duties will be completed while upholding Parkbridge's mission, vision, and values serving as a brand and cultural ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and preparation of relevant files for Above Guideline Increase (AGI) and Additional Rent Increase (ARI) filings
  • Liaise with Accountants, Capital Team, Investment Management & Paralegals to analyze and apply requested and awarded ARI/ARI's
  • Action all pending and approved governed AGI/ARI orders
  • Maintain accurate entry of accounts receivable transactions, lease documents, renewals, tenant information, and adjustments utilizing Yardi software
  • Process all Resident charges as applicable
  • Account for all cash transactions related to resident accounts
  • Review and aid in rental discrepancies with Property Managers - i.e. large accounts receivable balances, outstanding write-offs, etc.
  • Create correspondence to residents, working with the site for resident delivery
  • Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure month ends are properly invoiced and accounting related questions are properly answered
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration workflows
  • Support Revenue Administrators across the portfolio

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Two years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred
  • Experience in Residential Real Estate is an asset
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Company policies and procedures as well as relevant Acts and Legislation
  • An energetic self-starter with a willingness to learn
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills with a proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager is an asset
  • Team-oriented with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships
  • Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and strong adherence to established deadlines
  • Organized and efficient with strong multi-task skills and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, friendly, professional and customer service oriented
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
