UX-UI Designer

Join our team at Intact Lab, where we're transforming the customer experience for millions of Canadians using machine learning, data science, software engineering, AI, agility, UX, and design thinking.

We're looking for a talented UX-UI Designer to bring their design skills and human-centered approach to our products and services. As a member of our Enterprise UX team, you'll participate in the full co-creative design process, working with stakeholders from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop UX artifacts such as wireframes, sketches, components, service blueprints, and customer journeys to create a shared understanding of the experience.
  • Conduct client and stakeholder interviews, focus groups, usability tests, and diary studies to gather insights.
  • Collaborate with UX analysts to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Design and facilitate co-creation workshops to engage stakeholders and customers in designing customer-centric processes and systems.
  • Develop reports to communicate ideas to peers and executives.
  • Develop working prototypes to test and validate solutions for refinement.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to support the roll-out of initiatives.
  • Advocate for customer-centricity throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a UX designer, UI designer, or System Designer in a large organization or complex environment.
  • Experience working with a Design System and Figma.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a self-directed culture.
  • Strong visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) to interact with colleagues across the country.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design process and communication of design solutions.
