Building Maintenance Supervisor

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Heating and cooling HVAC systems for offices and industrial equipment (VFD's, PLC, etc)
  • Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining other utility services that involves knowledge on carpentry, plumbing, civil works.
  • Optimize reliability and maintainability of equipment.
  • Perform and oversee inspections in your area of responsibility.
  • Guarantee technical resource availability, ensuring a suitable minimum stock.
  • Draw up the maintenance cost budget and keep costs within agreed limits.
  • Ensure the application of health, safety, and environmental standards and practices.
  • Comply with HSE procedures, report any incidents or observations, and participate in the investigation process.
  • Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
  • Act as a "shift leader" and be responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift.
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop your staff.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Mechatronic, mechanical, or electrical specialization.
  • Knowledge on HVAC systems
  • Knowledge on residential and industrial electrical installations
  • Previous supervisory experience is a strong asset.

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • Day Shift, 8 am - 5 pm, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill.
