About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tenaris in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other utility services.
  • Optimize equipment reliability and maintainability.
  • Perform and oversee inspections in your area of responsibility.
  • Guarantee technical resource availability and ensure a suitable minimum stock.
  • Draw up the maintenance cost budget and keep costs within agreed limits.
  • Ensure the application of health, safety, and environmental standards and practices.
  • Comply with HSE procedures, report any incidents or observations, and participate in the investigation process.
  • Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
  • Act as a shift leader and be responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift.
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop your staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Mechatronic, mechanical, or electrical specialization.
  • Knowledge on HVAC systems and residential and industrial electrical installations.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a strong asset.
