Job Summary

The Accurate Fasteners company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for preparing customer quotations, resolving order issues, and ensuring proper inventory is maintained for existing and upcoming orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information about our products and services.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and process customer orders using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order information.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and managed effectively, and that products are sourced and priced correctly.
  • Monitor reorder reports to ensure that inventory is on hand to meet customer order requirements, and communicate with warehouse staff to confirm inventory levels and order status.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals, and provide feedback and insights to improve sales performance.
  • Assist with product sourcing and completing Request for Quotations (RFQs) for customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment in a buy/sell distribution business.
  • Post-high school courses in customer service, sales, or business are required.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work with constantly changing priorities.
  • Customer service focus and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and utilize basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Word and Excel, and experience working with ERP or Order Entry Software is considered a strong asset.
