Job Title: Courtesy Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Courtesy Clerk to join our team at Innisfail Food Store. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate processing of sale transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods
  • Bag and assist with carrying out purchases, ensuring customer satisfaction and convenience
  • Set up and maintain merchandise displays, creating an attractive and inviting store environment
  • Verify prices on items for cashiers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, supporting the team and achieving business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, providing a positive experience for customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, supporting colleagues and achieving business objectives
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old, meeting employment standards and regulations
