We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Horizon Health Network. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with patients and families to deliver holistic care and work to the full extent of the LPN scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care

- Engage in therapeutic relationships and support patients and families in their recovery planning.
- Act as a patient advocate, promoting open communication and professionalism.
- Maintain knowledge of treatments, equipment, and supplies pertinent to the service.
- Collaborate with other team members and complete assigned duties to ensure quality patient care provision.
- Educational/Human Resources
- Maintain personal certification skills required for the role.
- Model professionalism and adhere to standards of practice and professional boundaries.
- Assist with the orientation of new staff and support the preceptorship program.
- Promote and demonstrate an interest in program activities, such as attending staff meetings and contributing to the development of unit standards of care.
- Financial
- Maintain awareness of fiscal responsibility and promote a culture of cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Manager to optimize quality of care, work environment, and sustainability.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent and direct experience in Addiction and Mental Health.
- Actively registered with the LPN Association of New Brunswick (ANBLPN).
- Current BLS, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, ASIST, and Motivational Interviewing certifications.
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Demonstrated awareness of assessment tools and treatment modalities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to relevant legislation and processes.
- Previous exemplary work and attendance record.
