Dietitian - Nutrition & Food Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing expert nutrition advice and support to patients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-informed nutrition advice and support to patients, families, and communities.
- Develop and implement nutrition plans to promote healthy eating and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and support. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related field.
- Dietetic Internship Program completion.
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in an inpatient clinical nutrition setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
