We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to lead our Consumables team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a zoned and stocked sales floor, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product location, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Delegate and follow up on tasks such as customer availability process, price changes, and feature sets to ensure efficient store operations.
- Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including safety sweep logs and display maintenance.
- Train, develop, and provide feedback to associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Support with coverage in required areas on the sales floor as needed, and assist with recovery and zoning activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
