Job Summary
The Stock Associate is a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity of the store. This position is responsible for managing inventory flow systems, training and developing a core stock team, and ensuring the efficient replenishment of merchandise. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of management experience in retail apparel, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to understand customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory flow systems to ensure timely processing and prioritization of merchandise receipts
- Organize the backroom to company standards and update as seasonally appropriate
- Replenish merchandise efficiently to maintain a full and abundant sales floor
- Monitor and communicate department changes/issues, such as high/low sell-through and replenishment/overstock needs
- Execute inventory-based procedures, including damages, transfers, receiving, and WebIM Work List maintenance
- Support the physical inventory process and cycle count process
- Contribute to the stores' success as a team player
Requirements
- 2+ years of management experience in retail apparel
- Excellent presentation skills in a retail environment
- Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, and friendly
- Ability to understand customer needs
- Ability to build buy-in to an idea, decision, action, product, or service
