About the Role

Canonical is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our Global System Integrator (GSI) partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive growth and revenue through our GSI partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our GSI partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with our GSI partners.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our GSI partners' businesses, technologies, and sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles.
  • Deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
