**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Sprezzatura Mount Pleasant. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high service standards
* Collaborate with the Owner to develop and implement operational policies and procedures
* Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety, and liquor licensing standards
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization
* Experience sales forecasting and working to a budget
* Experience scheduling and labour cost control

**Requirements**

* At least 3 years previous experience in a working as a General Manager within the restaurant industry
* Excellent reliability and punctuality
* Basic knowledge of Italian cuisine, including food and beverage pairings
* Strong background in Bartending and Serving
* High level of emotional intelligence
* Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency in restaurant POS systems (we use "Lightspeed")
* Flexibility to work a mixture of shifts across a 5 day work week

**What We Offer**

* $60,000 per year + Tips
* 2 weeks paid vacation per fiscal year (pro-rated to start date)
