The Opportunity

This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Cost Accounting, with working level supervision provided by the Team Lead. The focus of this role is set-up and review of master data, processing journal entries, and analysis and reconciliation of corporate accounts.

What you'll do

  • Analysis and reconciliation of various corporate accounts
  • Invoicing of internal orders, billable projects and expatriate costs
  • Reviewing and processing monthly/quarterly journal entries for various costs
  • Assisting in the monthly cost allocation process
  • Approving new and modifications to cost centers and assisting in internal order set-up and settlement
  • Calculating and updating standard labour rates for all employee roles
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Completing special projects and ad hoc analysis as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 4+ years' progressive, related experience
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA - CA/CMA/CGA)
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with counterparts in the Company
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of SAP would be an asset
