About the Role

Sphere Immigration Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, data entry, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
