About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Barcelos. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including tax returns and trial balance of books.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 30 hours per week, permanent position.
