**Job Summary:** We seek a skilled facilities manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and repair of District facilities, with a focus on problem-solving, leadership, and team collaboration.

**Job Description:**

The District of Squamish is located in the unceded traditional territory of the Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). We offer gratitude to the Skwxwú7mesh People who have lived on these lands since time immemorial.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Oversee the management, coordination, budget control, and staff supervision of the Facilities Maintenance department
• Provide coaching and promote team effectiveness
• Take action and responsibility as a service-oriented individual
• Guide staff through change processes as a change agent
• Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization as a progressive influencer

**Requirements:**

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• Valid class 5 BC driver's license
• Seven years' progressive experience working in Facilities Management or a related field, including five years' experience working at a supervisory level
• Original Police Information Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the past 6 months
