Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Corporate Sponsorship to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive corporate sales plan to drive revenue growth through sponsorship and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Develop and Execute Sales Strategies**: Lead sales efforts to drive revenue growth through sponsorship and sales initiatives, working closely with the VP Sales Marketing & Customer Experience.
  • **Establish Sales and Marketing Plans**: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan and sales & marketing action plan for the department, including annual operating plans and objectives.
  • **Manage Marketing Materials**: Oversee the development of marketing materials to support sponsorship and sales initiatives, including brand definition and communication through various media channels.
  • **Partner with IT and Marketing**: Collaborate with IT resources and the Marketing Department to develop and implement key technology tools and e-marketing strategies.
  • **Sales and CRM**: Be a key member of the opportunity assessment team, responsible for sourcing new sales-based initiatives and maintaining the potential sponsor and advertising partner database.
  • **Leadership and Management**: Foster a culture of teamwork and mutual respect, conduct regular sales reporting meetings, and seek input from operations to ensure effective partner processes.
Requirements
  • **Education**: University degree in Business or Marketing, preferably with 5-7 years of experience in marketing management.
  • **Experience**: Proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in brand definition, direct-to-consumer marketing, and partnership marketing.
  • **Skills**: Strong understanding of the sales process, demonstrated ability to meet achievement-based sales objectives, and excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • **Technology**: Solid knowledge of technology and infrastructure, including computing skills (MS Office and CRM systems).
  • **Administration**: Ability to develop and manage budgets, with previous supervisory experience and excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
